Individual Journal Assignment #8

Writer: jense2amjense2am

I chose this picture for our cite because I love the inviting look in the Savior's face, like he's saying "Come Unto Me" just with his facial expression.

The citation for this picture is:

“LDS Media Library.” Picture Quotes-Bible Images, Intellectual Reserve, 2015, www.lds.org/media-library/images/category/picture-quotes-bible-images?lang=eng

I had no idea of the sheer number of media resources that the church provides! I didn't even know the site that was shared in the assignment outline existed before this project. Our church leaders really do strive to cover all of our needs, and I appreciate the amount of effort that went in to creating and organizing these ideas.

I also learned how to correctly cite a picture, which was also a mystery to me before this project. There are a lot of cites like EasyBib or KnightCite that cite information really fast and efficiently, but I never knew how to exactly cite things manually without using them. It's a very useful skill to have, especially as a student.
